Description : Mapamundo is a different Guesthouse. Our concept is simple, but not simple to find in Barcelona. A grand apartment in the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona, with large rooms but few people. We privilege familiarity and a relaxed atmosphere, therefore, allowing our guests to enjoy a longer, more enjoyable stay in Barcelona. We are only 4 minutes walking distance from the famous `Las Ramblas´ and within walking distance of the majority of Barcelona's major attractions : The Museo Picasso, Port Vell and the beaches, Gaudí's La Pedredra and Casa Batlló, Plaza Catalunya, El Catedral, and many more. Furthermore, you will find a lot of great restaurants, some that have been around since the day's of Antoni Gaudí and Salvador Dalí, excellent bars and pubs, local plazas and terraces, and dancehall's/discoteques to tranquil jazz cafés, which will totally engulf you in the pure magic that this great city has to offer.
