If you do a late cancellation or if you don't arrive we'll charge you the price of the first night. If you leave the hostel before the check out day we'll charge you the price of all the nights reserved. A small, family-run hostel on the first floor of a 19th century building 10 minutes by foot from S.Lucia train station and a 25 minutes from the city center. It is located on the Strada Nuova, the main street that connects the train station to Saint Mark Square. Dorm rooms have a maximum of 5 single beds, no bunk beds, and have small lockers for each person. The owner Archie started this business thirty years ago: he is always around the world to speak his many languages and is making his fourth degree as Ph.D., after the ones in Philosophy, indoeuropean Linguistics, and Chinese. You will probably be welcomed by his two sons, Uri and Ari. Like the father they like to speak foreign languages: if you plan to practice your Italian in this place, you are up the wrong tree. The furnishing and services are bare-bones, but it's very cheap, so it's the perfect place if you plan on being around the city most of the time.
